Join PMA Pak Army has announced the PMA Long Course 154, a pathway for individuals aspiring to join as officers. This course offers an opportunity to undergo comprehensive training leading to the rank of Second Lieutenant upon successful completion. Registration Dates and Procedure:

• Online Registration Period: March 20, 2024, to April 28. 2024​​.
• Preliminary Tests Date Range: April 21, 2024, to June 20, 2024​​.
• You can apply online by visiting the official Join Pak Army website or apply offline by visiting the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Center (AS&RC)​​​

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age: Varies with educational qualifications, ranging from 17 to 25 years​​.
• Marital Status: Unmarried for most applicants, with certain exceptions for married personnel of the Armed Forces over 20 years of age​​.
• Nationality: Citizens of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Dual nationals must renounce other nationalities upon selection​​.
• Educational Qualification: Minimum 55% marks in FA/FSc or equivalent. For graduates and serving personnel, different criteria apply

Important Considerations:

• Hope Certificate: Candidates who have passed FSC Part-1 and Advanced Subsidiary exams can apply with a “Hope Certificate” issued by the head of their institution, provided they anticipate securing at least 55% marks​​.
• Physical Standards: A minimum height of 5 feet 4 inches (162.5 cm) is required, and the candidate’s weight should be as per the body mass index (BMI)​

How to Apply?

• Online Registration or Visit AS&RC: Candidates can either register online through the official Pak Army website or visit their nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centre (AS&RC) for registration.
• Initial Test: Involves a Written/Intelligence test covering various subjects including English, Maths, General Knowledge, Islamic Studies, Pak Studies, and more.
• Physical Test: Includes a run test, pushups, pullups, crunches, and ditch crossing.
• Initial Medical Checkup: Candidates undergo initial medical examinations.
• ISSB Test: Shortlisted candidates will be called for the Inter-Services Selection Board (ISSB) test.
• Final Medical: Candidates who pass the ISSB will undergo a final medical examination.
• Interview: Finally, successful candidates will be interviewed before final selection.
